Shibori and Block Printing Workshop
In this workshop we will learn how to use Annie Sloan Chalk Paint as a fabric dye and the discipline of Shibori, a Japanese art of resist dyeing, finishing off with traditional block printing using hand-carved wooden blocks from India. You can use what you learn to create your own table linen, cushion covers, lamp shades, curtains, scarves... the list is endless!

What’s Included in Your Workshop
- All materials needed for the workshop will be provided, including the paint materials, and apron. You get to take home a sample of each of the techniques you have learned & created during the workshop. This is a hands- on workshop, please come dressed to paint!
Workshop Details

Duration: approx. 3 hours
Please arrive on time so you can enjoy the full experience. We allow a grace period of 15 minutes; after that, the session will proceed without further delay. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer extensions or make-up time for late arrivals. -
Minimum attendees for workshop to run: 2 pax.
(If you are keen to attend and do not meet the min. pax requirements, do get in touch to enquire about private session). - All workshops will be held at our space at 43 Keppel Road. More information will be sent 1 day before workshop.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Refunds are not provided for missed sessions. If you’re unable to attend, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance, and we’ll offer a one-time rescheduling option.

Big Blue Trunk reserves the right to cancel or postpone a workshop up to 3 days before the scheduled date if the minimum number of participants is not met. In such cases, refunds will not be provided, but your booking will be rescheduled to a future session.
