Tilton is a deep, warm, mustard yellow inspired by Deep Cadmium Yellow pigments. These rich yellows are characteristically robust, richly saturated and joyful. Use on front doors with Chalk Paint™ Lacquer to protect and broadcast sunshine to your neighbours all year long!

1 litre is enough to cover approximately 13 square metres. After painting, seal indoor furniture with Chalk Paint® Wax. On floors, seal with Chalk Paint® Lacquer. Take a look at our Tips & Techniques section for more information and to help you get started.

Fabulous makeover

This was my first time to use chalk paints & to try painting furniture but, with Meeda’s expert advice, it has turned out so well. I am now looking at all my other furniture & wondering what colour I should paint them! The Tilton is just the right colour choice for me. Not too bright yellow & when I added the dark wax treatment to it I got the more mustard yellow I wanted to make my “not so great looking, very heavy dark wood bookcase” into something bright and “antique” looking. It was meant to go in my husbands study room - but he thinks it looks so great we should leave it in the living room so more people can see it! This paint has NO smell and wipes up with just water on a cloth. Could not be simpler! Thank you Meeda & The Big Blue Trunk. I will definitely see you again soon. What a shame the review space does not allow for photos …….. Some before and after shots would show you just how great this Tilton Annie Sloan chalk paint has made my bookcase look.
