Country Grey is a perfect cool soft neutral. Made with raw umber pigment, it is the classic choice for so much painted furniture. It is also a great foil for other colours.

display cabinet

In a room full of polished wood furniture I decided to turn my display cabinet into Country Grey. The name does not match my intention but the color surely did. It is a beautiful muted color that goes well with wood and persian carpet. Even for the whole cabinet I used less than half of my one liter can. After the first coat, I was a little worried of the patchy look. The second coat brought out the true colors. I used white wax on top and then the hand rubbed sheen of the finished product was better than I expected.
